I had a 3 hour layover in the Minneapolis airport, so tried the Atkins menu
item.  It was pretty thin and kind of dry with two slices of "kraft slices"
melted on top.  A small salad came along with it with a pretty tasty sundried
tomato dressing - about a teaspoon full.  I should have ordered a bunless
burger at McDonalds.  My husband ordered from the regular menu - a chicken
fillet with cheese and  pesto.  I wish I had ordered that and told them to
leave off the fries.  Some resturants still don't get it.

I had the exact thing at our local Friday's yesterday and it was very
good.  I think the problem is that the Friday's you went to was at an
airport.  We have two Fridays here and they are both good.

I suggest giving it another try at a different location.

Also, try to remember that it is two hamburgers and a salad, which
will only be so exciting.  I order the hamburgers cooked medium to
avoid the dry problem.  They have some other items that are very good.
I've had the chicken wings and the spinach and avocado dip.  Both are
also very good.

By coincidence, there's a coupon in our local paper for $5 off at
Friday's.  I expect to be using that coupon soon.

The TGIF near me has a garlic chicken breast with grilled vegs that was
excellent..

naught naughty, those kraft slices have 2 grams of carbs, in the book it
says no more then 1 gram per ounce of cheese!  Stick with shredded cheeses!

We went to TGIF tonight and I had the garlic chicken.  I wasn't impressed.  I
had the blue cheese sirloin before, and it was quite good, as were the chicken
wings.

I just ate at TGIF for lunch and none of the Atkins ones jumped out as
great. I had their CHicken CObb salad and an order of buffalo
wings-typically safe LC food.. The only unknown for the meal was the
dressing. It was a Hot Bacon Mustard dressing, came warm in a
mini-soup pot. It was very good, I'm thinking it had some sugar in it.
Ranch or Italian would have been a safer bet. The cheeseburger
cheeseburger sounded dull. No bacon, no sugarless cole slaw, I'd
rather order one of their interesting hamburgers and strip the buns.
