This is for you newbies that are constantly afraid of all the doom and
gloom BS you hear from your friends, and the net. Just got my bloodwork and
my chloresterol actually is still slowly going down. It used to be about
250, and after LCing 5 years was 210 today. This really proves to me that
eating fat and protein has no relationship to our serum levels. I eat tons
of meat, eggs, butter almost every single day. I also eat lots of veggies
and salads. Never any bread, pasta, rice, fruit, or sugar. ZERO in 5 years.
I try to take the occasional multi vitamin, and a C.... but fall short of
every day.
Like the rest of you I tried every possible diet on the planet. I've
lost lots of weight, and have kept it off for 5 years without exercise. My
biggest reason for this WOE is that I don't ever need to measure, weigh, or
think about what to do. There's always plenty of choices when eating out, or
at my fav... the buffets! Most of what I learned was from Atkins first book,
and this NG.... thanks!
