Weight Loss Forum / Low Carb / March 2004I'm SO depressed!
Hello friends! My weight has blossomed to just over 400 pound-a-roo's! I am suicidal, I just don't know what to do. Let me give you a heads up on my pathetic life. I was raised in an abusive house hold, was beaten by my father on a regular basis, and molested in my sleep. The outcome of this was not good, I ended up having 2 kids by my father all while my mother just sat by and watched! I tend to think she was in on the abuse as well although I don't know for sure! I am now married and my marriage has only gone down hill. My husband is threatening to leave me because I don't give him any sex not to mention he is purely disgusted by the many rolls of fat all over my body...HELP JERRY RESCUE ME! I started low carbing a few years ago with NO RESULTS! My sausage stuffing like thighs rub together, which causes huge blisters to appear on my inner thighs, lots of sweating and foul oders, my husband can't even stand to be in the same room with me. I have tried every diet out there and it just doesn't work for me. I am laughed at on a constant basis and I haven't left my trailer in months! I just don't know what to do anymore gals! PLEASE help a desperate middle aged woman get her life back, I'm thinking of turning to the gastric bypass surgery, heck my life is worth the risk, even if I die on the operating table! Any suggestions before I go throw in another Pizza in the oven today? Desperate... Nothing JC has done or could do would justify using; "You were an abused child" as an insult. The term "killfile" means that you've used your newsreader's "Block Sender" feature to remove all the offending poster's posts so you *can't* read them. You never see them. You've been using the term incorrectly, so that's why people keep cracking on you for "killfiling" JC but still talking to him. If you *had* killfiled JC you wouldn't see his posts, and would not be responding to him. Carmen The source DOES matter! You are defending a total, complete TROLL who does nothing but come here and attack innocent people who are posting about weight loss. Why does he or she do this? My guess was correct, CHILD HOOD TRAUMA HONEY! I've seen it all to often. And yes, if you are going to go out of your way, to cause other people pain, you deserve what you get! And again, if your defending him, you are just as much a troll as he! I'm quite aware how kill filling works hon! Ever heard of removing the block and adding it back when your done? Try it... I've had experience of "normal" kids who would make JC look like a pussy cat. OTOH, I'm raising foster kids who've experienced trauma like you would never guess, and although they were practically feral when they came to my household, their behaviour towards others would put some here to shame. *They've* overcome *their* trauma and fought *their* anger because they *chose* so to do. The sad fact is that some folk *choose* not to overcome (or don't have anything *to* overcome) and they simply enjoy attempting to inflict pain on others. Assumptions such as you have made, only strengthens the misconception that bad behaviours stem from childhood trauma. Some folks are just "born" mean or have a genetic predisposition (IMHO and according to my experience). I've seen foster kids raised in loving caring foster homes from the age of 3 months who've grown to be just as abusive as their parents despite experiencing little or no abuse themselves. This isn't making fun of JC (which I'm sure he could handle anyways), it is making fun of people who've been abused, those who've been victims of incest and of those whom are fat.
