The transy (is it a MAN or a WOMAN?) probably infected you with a virus.  I
would advise you to do a virus scan.

Hey!  I got these two messages!  Mine and sseaotts!!!!!
I worked with Cox.net for 2 hours and something we did may have worked!!!!!
I changed my email address and have had all kinds of problems since then,
causing me to eat peanuts last evening!  I hope this continues, as I have
been devoid of my newsgroups since Thursday when I changed my addy.
ANd thanks, Revek.  I probably did that among the other 60000 things the Cox
guy and I tried.
Bless us, I am again back.  (hopefully)

And God said "Let there be light." But then the program crashed
because
he was trying to access the 'light' property of a NULL universe
pointer.

Revek, are there only our four posts on this group as of now?  If this one
gets on, there  will be only 4 on my screen.

Jackie,

This sounds exactly as if you have your Outlook Express set up incorrectly.
Go to "View,"  then ""current View," and make sure that "Show all Messages"
is selected.

It sounds as if you have "Show replies To My Messages" selected; in which
case you would only see your own messages or responses to your messages.

Good luck!

Unless you don't want to see messages you've already read.  You can also
try resetting the newsgroup.  Highlight the name of the newsgroup, right
click on it, choose properties, go to local file and choose reset.  This
will delete everything you've already downloaded and reset the list to
download everything again.

Look, the US is simply bigger, which means there's more of everything,
including more morons. And because the morons shout, they tend to drown
out the intelligent people, which the USA also has more of. Unless you
believe the Hubble telescope was built by the audience of the Ricky
Lake show, that is. {Terry Prattchet Isis Publishing interview,
