Has anybody come across a recipe for low-carb, high protien snack bars (low
in calories too)? I am sick of buying them- at three bucks a snack it works
out to be quite expensive.

Try a hardboiled egg. A large egg has about 80 calories, less than 1g of
carbs, costs just pennies, and is quite filling, imo.

Snack bars will keep you wanting sugar in my opinion..or something sweet.
Your chances of eating real junk food ( to me snack bars are junk food) are
higher if you include them in your way of eating.

Just try some toasted almonds instead.
