I have read with interest the furor about diet drinks, and rodents and weight.

Where do the people get this money for these studies. I have one I want to do.

I used diet drinks a sweetener from day one since I have a kind of a problem with sugar if I eat too much? It calls for more sugar?  Anyway, it didn't cause me any sort of problems.  I do have to use splenda, as aspartame gives me headaches, and I sometimes use stevia mixed with splenda, but I Have used aspartame.  None of them causes me to crave "white" carbs and more sweets more than simple sugar.  Maybe they should feed another group of mice hard candies while they are feeding the others artificial sweetener, I would be willing to bet it is the sweet taste itself that stimulates the little buggers.

Oh, feisty this morning.  Must be that combination of stevia and
splenda.  While I like licorce, stevia just tastes, well, it TASTES.
