I have read the books.. but I don't understand how you log points,
if you can eat any of the core foods anytime as long as you aren't stuffed..
if you can only eat the serving amounts they say we need per day or if that
is the minimum of those foods we should eat.
And how do we use that "log" they give us??
its all mixed with the flex points system too and I totally do not get it
since I don't attend the meetings. This seems like a plan you have to go to
meetings for but we can't afford it and my sister bought me the plan in the
first place.
I do like the plan cause you don't have to record everything AND the foods
you eat don't seem really expensive except for the meats.

Anyway thanks ahead of time..

Okay, one at a time
1) you can eat any of the core foods anytime **If you are hungry, and in
"reasonable" amounts. I would say that you would never get "stuffed",
because that would be more than too much.
2) Those serving suggestions are what you should eat for good health, you
should aim for that amount more or less. If you are hungry you should eat.
3) The log is for non-core foods, and you are limited to 35 points a week.
For instance if you like bread, then you log those points when you eat it,
since bread is not on the list.
Anything not on the core list you count. When you get to 35, you only can
eat core foods, the rest of that week.
Get your sister to buy you one or two meetings, so you can hear it all
explained. :)

If you eat anythng not on the core list you have to count the points.
You get 35 points a week.

I now understand..but the "log" looks weird and complicated and thats the
part I am having trouble with..

I don't think my sis can afford the meetings since she paid in advance for
hers and lost her books and her coupons in the airport of the plane when she
went on her trip. She had to pay 150.00 to get everything all over again
incl the meetings. (which i don't agree with btw they need to know who
bought what and replace the loss imo)

anyway I will see if she can help me figure the rest out
thanks

Yes it was but she knows that I bought the winning points system booklets
twice for 46.00 a piece on Ebay when I first lost weight..
then I bought the at home version on WW online for 125.00 and never used
it..
So she knows that now that we are strapped I can't afford to rebuy everytime
they have a new plan.. She figured that the 20.00 she spent for this core
was nothing compared to what I already spent in the past for it :) and I
plan to pay her back.

I am very lucky to also have a supportive sister. we do different things to
lose, but we are always sharing tips and victories with each other, Lee

The paper log that they give out at the meetings serves both programs. The
first page just has numbers 1 to 35 on them. That's for marking off your
Non-core food points (WPA). The page has room for marking down your daily
water (6), Fruits & veggies (5), milk (2 or 3) and oils (2). At the bottom
it has an Activiy tracker where you mark off how many APs you earn for the
week (aim for 28).

The rest of the journal is for those on the Flex plan where they write down
everything that they eat and the points for it. It works like a checkbook
where you add the activity points earned and subtract the points you eat.
