I've been having the cravings for sweet stuff like candy and stuff.  I'm
afraid this will cause me to gain or either not lose any.  Does anyone
have any suggestions to get me away from the sweet tooth calling???

Lee, I must tell you I tried your hot cocoa recipe yesterday - yum! I
thought 1 T of splenda sounded like alot, so I tried one of the little
packets, figuring I could add more. That amount was just right for me.

bacardi babe, here's the recipe Lee's talking about:
16 oz skim milk, 1 T unsweetened cocoa powder 1 T splenda (I used 1 tsp, and
that was good for me). Micro and stir!

You know I bet 1 tsp would be right for most people.  This is one of the
very few things I like super sweet.  I have no difficulty eating one
Hershey's kiss with a 16 ounce cup of coffee and being happy with that.
Just with HC I want it supersweet, I also sometimes put in a few drops of
vanilla or some other flavoring for a change, banana and coconut are
currently the favorites, Lee

My mind always doubts it when the sweet tooth calls, but--believe me--a
piece of raw fresh fruit (the juicier, the better!) really does satisfy.
Candy & other (processed) sweet stuff is just a *habit* that can be broken
physiologically with fruit.

Try it for two weeks--no backsliding!--to see if it works.

best Wishes on your Weight loss.
