You are still in the "Free zone" so that's good! Good luck this week.

Oh were you ever lucky to stay the same - I would have gained! Hopefully
you will show a nice loss next week.

I'm so glad you maintained. I hear ya on salty asian food. I had some of
hubby's Chinese tonight (wasn't hungry enough for my own dinner so had some
of his instead) and I'm dreading the scale tomorrow morning... oh well.

It is only water. It is not fat (well, some might be) and will be
gone after sufficient doses of water.
I am no longer shocked but "saddened" by how high in points both Thai
and Chinese foods are. I guess stir frying still picks up tons of
oil.

This is true, and besides, I had a nice loss today anyway. So "plbbbbbbbbt"

I went online and found our favorite recipes for the chinese foods we love
to eat and revamped them to give lower points and cut out all added salt
completely. The first time we make sesame chicken we followed the
directions exactly, deep frying the chicken twice in peanut oil. We
measured the oil before we started and again after and found out we used up
2 Tablespoons . So eventhough we put the chicken on paper towels and
squeeze it after each fry we have the 2 TBS in the recipes calculated in and
all. Since we only make this about every 2 months, I figure it is ok
especially since we revamped the sauces with Splenda also. But our Chinese
is never salty tasting and the kids tell me it tastes better than what we
use to order in.
