Well, last week was a little slower, but we still squeezed out a 1
pound loss between the three of us. My wife was out of town on
business, so that was a +1 pound for her, as my daughter and I lost 1
pound each...
Total of 23.5 pounds lost so far!
As a side bar, we've been using Mastercook to plan our menus, meals and
grocry list. We like the weekly rotation of same meals on certain days.
Makes it easy to only buy what I need and according to the budget, we
are UNDER this month by a whopping $70. Now THAT'S a first!

This week, we lost 5.5 pounds between the three of us. My daughter
stayed
the same as last week, so she's going to start drinking more fluids :)
To date, that's 22.5 pounds lost while eating healthy and enjoyable
food!

I've always found eating away from home is difficult. She did well to
limit it to 1lb.

It seems to be working :)

I've always thought it more expensive to shop for a 'diet'. Nice to
know that it can be done cheaper.

I find we end up spending less because we eat less and waste less, Lee

Well done on the loses, and that $70 loss on the groceries is a nice
NSV, isn't it! :)

Congratulations to the 3 of you. It's very hard to even maintain on a
business trip, so I think your wife did quite well.

Good job. Isn't it nice that there are other benefits ($$) from eating
better.

Great job! A loss and a decrease in the grocery bill! I want a decrease
in my grocery bill too! I usually end up passing the grocer about $100 -
$150
a week. If I don't let DH add to the grocery list and leave him home (he
hates shopping anyway), then I can usually get away with $80 - $100 a week.
Of course DS always wants to go along and being almost 4 now he of course
wants to try all kinds of things. I usually allow him to choose one item -
he
normally chooses a can of black olives or an avocado!
