Having posted in here and lurked a few times I have had some useful advice
from people here.  But I really do not want to join weightwatchers for the
time being.  OKay if I hang around here for a while?

Of course you can. Not everyone here is a WW member.

Thanks.  It is difficult to know whether the name means weightwatchers the
company, or weightwatchers in general.

The original intent of the group was to be a support newsgroup for people
following the Weightwatchers program.

Of course!  :)  We got folks on all sorts of sensible regimes here, not
just WW.

There are plenty of people here not doing the official Weight Watchers
program.  It helps if you understand the concept of the program because we
do tend to speak in Points, but not being a member shouldn't stop you from
staying!
