Fred - 25 Jan 2005 01:53 GMT This morning there were something like 50 new messages and I could not get through them and now I come home and added to that are another approximately 170 messages.
Did everyone in the world decide on their New Years' resolution to join this newsgroup? Or, heaven forbid, was there some flaming thread that was cross-posted!!!!!
Well, now to start wading.....
Laura - 25 Jan 2005 02:28 GMT Isn't it nice that the group has become active again. And no, it is not because of some flaming thread that was cross posted.

Mango's not so bad unless of course it's in the form of some kind of fancy dessert or pie. Dried I guess is also high in points, but in moderation would be good for you. There's always the garbage ;-D

Well, today may have been worse.... All I can say is that they had better not raise the Social Security retirement age!!!! (G)

JulieB - 25 Jan 2005 23:09 GMT It's always like this in January. It'll quiet down in a few months, then get busy in the month or two before summer, then go back to 40-50 messages a day in October-December. The patterns of this newsgroup are as predictable as the moon!

Miss Violette - 29 May 2005 00:56 GMT my mom gave me one that is a little too big so I could try it on and get used to the concept, it is going well here at the house but still not ready to buy one or wear one in public, Lee

Deb in Northern California - 01 Feb 2005 03:54 GMT Since I go through about a suit every couple of months, I have found them for a reasonable price at Ross Dress for Less, not sure if you have those there or not. Also a couple of weeks ago, I found Speedo one piece racer back style suits at Costco for about $20.

Are you? (G)
And maybe that explains the fascination with, ahem, additional exercise.
Go for it. I suspect that you have earned it.

The patterns of this newsgroup are as predictable > as the moon! My WW group is like this! People think they'll lose all the Christmass excesses, so they join in January, and slowly drop away... Then just after Easter they suddenly want to fit in 2 years ago's swim suit/bikini for the summer, so another lot flood in... Us regulars see them come and go as the summer swallows and winter snowflakes. We do our best to get both lots to stay.

We do our best to get both lots to stay. The same with my WW group. At the end of December there were approx. 30 people at the WI. Last Tuesday I think there were approx. 60 attendents and also a lot who only came to let themselves weigh but didn't stay for the actual meeting.

>I blame the snow for keeping everyone indoors, except you:-) Yes, we have NO snow and I just purchased new skis. Dragging the boots to the shop tomorrow to match to the binding locations.
Miss Violette - 31 Jan 2005 14:46 GMT I am currently about a week behind. I find that if I just read oldest thread to newest thread I eventually get caught up and I have inspiration there waiting for me when I need it. In an effort to keep my perfectionist tendencies at bay reading every post on this NG is one of the things I do "perfectly" in my weight control efforts, Lee

Fred - 01 Feb 2005 04:03 GMT Well, I think you are catching up. For about half a day, it just slowed down and then quickly picked up again.
