It's -25C here again this morning. That's a minus figure even in Farenheit! It's garbage day and the spousal unit isn't out of bed yet. That means it's up to me to get it out to the curb - it's up to me even when he IS outta bed...LOL The mailman can't get up the front steps to deliver the mail, so clearing those off is on my early morning agenda too - before i even think about leaving for the gym. Thank goodness for oatmeal - my innards are warm even if my outer won't be. Seems to me like a lotta work - but it won't give me much in the way of activity points. I think we should get more for even going outside in sub-zero temps! We only had a few inches here this winter, but just across the water on Vancouver Island they had 3 feet! Three blizzards in one week, oh my! Shirley Hicks Toronto, Ontario, who found that freezetheinsdeofyernostrils cold takes her right back to Alberta, yes it does. I hate the cold, blessedly DH does the trash and sidewalk. He does the sidewalk on his schedule, we don't get mail service at our house so if we do not have to leave the house what do I care if its done or not? The trash we solved by getting a dumpster with a lid. It costs a bit more but we take, I guess I should say, he takes it out when he sees it is needed or when I ask for it to be done, He doesn't smell anything so if it is not full and smells bad he doesn't notice. With this lid affair the dogs can't get in, there is enough room for 3 weeks worth and we can take it out when wanted not having to be concerned when the driver is coming.
