Ack - I am having a sh*tty week and am desperately trying *not* to comfort
eat. Got back out on the bike yesterday, for a 20-miler, and as the day was
cool with relatively little wind, and nicely sunny, it was a pleasant ride.
I know my weakness is comfort-eating, so I am trying to avoid it. There are
no real "naughties" in the house, so I can't truly pig-out, which is a good
thing. Weigh-in on Thursday night will be interesting - it won't be another
4.5 lb loss, but that can't happen every week anyhow.
Send good vibes for continued willpower please ;-)
Cheers, helen s

I hope you can feel my good vibes. If you don't have it in the house
you can't eat it, and sometimes just sitting down and writing about it
helps to make the feeling pass. Try to figure out why you need
'comfort.' I know you've already done that - I'm just sayin'...
Paint your toenails, or paint your bedroom...that oughta keep you
busy.
Take care of YOU

I'll send you good vibes if you will send some back my way. I'm not having a
good food week either. Fortunately the Superbowl snack are GONE!!
Hang in there. You've done it before and you can do it again. Enjoy the
weather and your bike. Maybe that will be your salvation. When you want to
eat, go for a ride and clear your head.

Obviously I'm being a bit delusional here - I meant to say *good* vibes
sent. I'm not an egomanic, really - well, just an apprentice one ;-)

When the kids asked if they could have a Superbowl party with the food(never
invite friends if there is food, less for yourself is their motto), I said
sure, whatcha buying to eat?
That ended that, I drank water while watching my Eagles loose. Ah well,
there is always next year.

DH gave up on the game after half time. I like the way you handled the food
situation. I wish I had done something like that. We had popcorn, frittos
and dip plus shrimp and cocktail sauce. Dinner was left over chimichanuga
from our local mexican restaurant. So I went over on my points Sunday night.
Last night was more points too as it was DD's 15th birthday and we had pizza
and ice cream cake. I also finished up the popcorn from Sunday night.
arrgghhh. Today I am back on track.

The important thing is you are now back on track - everyone is allowed a wee
slip, the important thing is that it's not slipping everyday :-)

Oh dear, snow is always nicer when someone else has it! I don't think I'll
have another big loss - and I'll be pleased with any loss :-)

Read somewhere that it is want power you want , not willpower. You already
have the will power, the want power is what keeps you going when the will
power is running out of gas.
So I will send some want power your way.

Thanks Michelle - it's WI tomorrow night, so I am trying to ignore the fact
that in my brain there's a mental image of the biggest portion of "death by
chocolate" cake on the planet. No, I'm not hallucinating... really ;-)
