eat less?
It doesn't matter much which diet you choose they all work about the
same. WW is as good a start as any.
Find out how much you eat now by logging EVERYTHING you eat on
fitday.com for a fortnight. Assuming your weight is constant this
represents your maintenance calories.
Change your diet sligfhtly to end up with 500 calories per day less.
You can easily do this by eating lots of protein and a bit less fat.
It's really easy if you eat lots of junk and non-diet coke, just cut
out the junk and drink diet coke.
You will lose about 1 pound a week, so 6 months later you will be 1
pound under your target and ready to learn how to maintain.
Of course you'll probably have birthdays and parties etc, so cut 600
calories a week to compensate. If you lose too fast eat a LITTLE more,
if you don't lose a pound every week eat a LITTLE less.
A lot harder than it sounds of course, but most diets are basically
based on that.
