Fighting off a cold, but still lost

Hello all, first congratulations to all the losers and maintainers.
Although I am fighting off a horrible headcold (possibly allergies),  I
still managed a great loss this week.  I guess it was all the extra water I
was drinking with all the meds drying me out.  I lost 3.2 lbs this week, so
in two weeks time I have lost over 10 lbs and am only 1 lb away from my next
goal of 75 lbs lost.

I don't want a cold but I'd take part of the loss.

Feel better.

Thank you Fred.  Any suggestions for areas to stay in the Seattle area.  We
are wanting to visit the Music Experience Project, the Space Needle, Pike's
Place Market, Seattle Art Museum and if you have any other suggestions for
young adults (2 are 21 and 1 is 16, along with me) to see, it would be
greatly appreciated.  Thanks for your help in advance and feel free to email
me direct if you like.

I generally don't stay here! (G)  Well, not in motels anyway.  There
is one at the market but it might be noisy and active.  I have no idea
about price.  There's also, is it, a Marriot near Lake Union just a
bit north of downtown and probably an easy bus ride and not far from
Seattle Center and the Experience (EMP) Music (noise! (g)) Project and
Space Needle.

I can look for specifics.  Oh, there's the Edgewater where the
Beattles stayed - on the water below the Market.

Sorry to hear about the cold but your loss is a great one. Keep up the good
work. Good luck reaching your next mini goal. You are doing great.

Thanks Laura, I guess shaking things up a bit has really helped me to get
back into the groove of things.

I am a Weight Watchers member and if you follow the program it does work.  It is amazing how all the factors combined is the formula to lose.  That being portion control, water, dairy, fruits and veggies, exercise, etc.  I have been working this program for over 4 years now, so there are times you just have to pick it up again and dust it off to get the losses started again.

Yay!  My last cold burned up 3.5 lbs, so at least I had some good from
it!  :)

Well done on getting so close to that next goal.

Thanks Lynne,  yes they are, now I need to get back to the gym.  I miss that
and with this cold, there was no way I was getting in the pool and then
going out in the cold afterwards to get chilled again while fighting off
this bug.
