Not a good week back to 187.
On the excuses front I've had flu (seem to be over it now), but I seem
to have eaten anything that might make me feel better. Chocolate chip
cookies, chocolate muffins, danish pastries get the idea? I also
didn't exercise at all this week.
So last night I did 45 minutes of lifting, and started OP again today.

I sympathize. I seem to be following your lead UP! And I don't have
the flu as an excuse. Just that I WANT IT!!!! No, not the flu, food.
And I have been getting exercise. And my main courses are still fine.
It is those comfort foods between MEALS. So what is causing this?
Too casual approach even while we "maintain" (as in state or say) that
we are doing most things right?
Good luck reining it in this week.

Sorry to hear about the gain and the flu. Hopefully the sugar monster won't
get you so that you can stay OP this week and the gain will disappear
quickly.

My commiserations with you and hope that now you're over the flu, you'll
have a great loss this week.

Ray,
I feel you pain. I too had a gain this week, due to not exercising and also
eating those comfort foods. For some reason a chocolate chip cookie, sure
makes you feel better when you are under the weather.

Damn, I had to put down the leftover homemade mint chocolate chip
icecream to reply to this message! (no, I'm not kidding)

Congrats on getting back OP, Ray. I've started and stopped so many diets in
the last year, I can't count... and "the end" usually came about due to a
slip of some sort. I'm not going to let that happen this time (although I
expect a slip or two along the way), so it really helps to learn from the
perserverance of someone like you... thanks.
