Pack a cooler full of healthy snacks: fruit, cut up veggies, salads, yogurt,
cooked chicken, already popped pop corn. Sandwiches or at the makings for
sandwiches on the go. Don't forget lots of bottled water.

Same as anyone would have to do - reduce food intake so that calories in are
less than calories out and where possible, do some exercise on a regular
basis. Plan ahead - keep lots of healthy snacks, veggies, etc., within easy
reach, and lots of water. Keep a food diary - write down what you are eating
to keep on track of you daily food intake.
Cheers, helen s

The food tips have been awesome..... I will use them on my next trip w/ my
daughter for medical treatment. Since I'm a professional "office worker"...
I think I have the same plight as far as lack of activity goes. You don't
have many healthy choices as far as food at the stops you can make (I know
that, f'sure), so definitely load a cooler when you can. And perhaps be
more selective on the stops you make... find a rest area even after gassing
up.... choose to walk and smell the earth... even when you are tired. :)
