Thank you everyone for the congrats of support. I really appreciate it.
I do have to admit though, I didn't think I'd be doing so well this time,
because the reason I quit WW a year and a half ago was because I had
started dating my BF, and he had a usual routine of ordering pizza & wings
every weekend, and he is also an amazing (and high fat/calorie) cook.
We have now moved in together, and he cooks dinner almost every day. I
told him I was going to go back OP with the girls from work, and he was
totally against it. He doesn't like diets at all, but only because he's
watched so many people lose 20lbs and then quit dieting and gain back
25lbs.
I've now explained that with WW, I can still have whatever I want, I just
have to moderate portions, and if it's really high in points, I have to
load up on veggies the rest of the day. He's okay now, knowing that I am
not limited to certain foods, just as long as it's in moderation, and he
sees that I am not starving myself, (even if I'm steaming broccoli at 11:30
at night when I get home from work! lol).
Now, 4 weeks in, and he's seen the results, he is my biggest supporter.
He brags to his family and friends and our co-workers (we work together)
before I do!
Before he cooks supper now, he asks me how many points I've already used
up, and how much whatever he wants to cook is worth. He also tries to
portion everything out on my plate for me first so that I wont be too
tempted to over indulge, but he also makes sure that we have extra veggies
made up, so if I want seconds, there are some "free" foods still there for
me.
I still don't count anything on the weekends, but he no longer orders in.
If he wants pizza and wings, he'll go out with a couple of friends and have
it at the bar, so I'm not so tempted.

I can understand that. I couldn't get me head round 'dieting', but WW
workes for me because it's more than just a 'diet'.

Hehehe! get him to make a biiiig vat of zero point soup, and then you
can just zap that for a late night snack.

Good for him. Now teach him the joys of tasty LOW fat cooking! :)

My leader says if you give her 5 days a week, you'll lose. Not as fast
as 7 days a week, but if it works for you two, go for it! Next that
young man of yours will be baking low fat pizza and wings for you and
his friends at home!
