Hello all. Ever since I've stopped going to meetings (I couldn't stand the
lecturer) I have been going downhill. Seems I have trouble going it alone
(don't we all).
I have made a few false starts, good for 2 weeks but then bad for 2. Now I
am on a 3 week roll and have finally got up enough nerve to weigh myself.
Seems I'm exactly 20 lbs over goal (ugh). I see some familiar names here so
congrats to all of you who have stuck to it!  I think with summer coming I
have caught it in time. Good luck to all in the upcoming weeks.

Welcome back. Maybe sticking around this group will give you the added
support that you need to stay on track.

Welcome back.  Another guy in our midst helps (G) although I'm sorry
it took a gain to come back.

Just work the program and you know it works.

I'm still attending meetings - just hearing others' stories sometimes
helps.

And to put a less positive spin on attending.... Seeing where I was or
could be again when looking at currently overweight members provides
additional incentive.  I'm not far from there, know I was there and
have to work not to be there again.

Take Care

Sorry I haven't gotten back to anyone. It's been quite a week. Thanks for
all the good thoughts and I seem to be under control this time.
I know that the program works so I have to stick with it. I hear that they
may be replacing the leader of my old group, so I may go back and give it a
try. (there is something about paying for a meeting to keep me on track.)
Keep up all the good work everyone.

Hi Glen and welcome back.  I'm also just returning, after a lengthy absence.  I'm
also close to 20 pounds over my ww goal - finally did work up that courage to step
on the scales.  Think I needed to in order to kick myself into gear.  But we know
what to do, we can do it.  Hang in there.  Glad to see you back amongst us.

Joyce!

Good to see you... It's been kinda hit or miss with me lately and I'm sooo
behind I had about 2000 messages on my newsreader but only the last 180 were
still available... darn! Anyway, welcome back!

Thanks Kristin, good to see you again too!  There were so many messages when I
came back, I think I finally just gave up and hit the catch-up button. <grin>  And
I also discovered that my wonderful *free* newshost had become pay-for-use. <sigh>
