Hi everyone!

I just wanted to post my weigh in results from Tuesday.  I am down another 4
pounds, for a total of 20 now!  I have been to the gym each day since last
Friday, and it makes me feel so much better.  Last night, I went to my
favorite restaurant for dinner (Ouback Steakhouse) and easily stayed within
my points range.  Before starting WW, I don't even want to think how many
points I took in when we ate there!!

So far, (it's been a short month now), I am finding WW to be very livable,
and am very pleased.

Wonderful work.  Yup, we all had those revelations about food and
calories/points.  I think I totalled about 40 points for a Thai
meal....  Cups of rice and cups of different entres....

Good feelings.  But, frankly, there will be days, occasionally... So
just beat yourself up when they do occur.  Just get back to the
program as soon as possible.

That was my approach.  It works.  I went for 10% and then another
10%....

you were such a nice group of people!  ;-)

Yes, I guess I am close to 10% which is nice.  I know the weight loss will
slow down, I have dieted enough times to experience that before.  But this
time is different, I am not treating this like a diet, I am trying to treat
it like a way of life.  "One meal at a time", that is what I keep telling
myself.

Well, you know if we can't get our desserts we like to watch people
beat themselves (G)

Great work Sharon!  Congratulations on the 4 lbs down and on going to your
favorite restaurant and staying withing points range!  Being able to do that
is
a big bonus!

Thanks!  Yes, I really felt good after I left the restuarant.  I realized
that I think I enjoyed the conversation more than the meal (and normally the
food is what I have concentrated on in the past when we went out to eat....)

You are doing exceptionally well. As Fred said things will slow down,
so don't get disheartened if/when they do.
You are almost at 10% so shortly you can celebrate, but not with food.
Most of all well done with controlling what you eat at your favourite
restaurant. That is quite an achievement.

This is great news Sharon. You're doing really well with the program,
discovering what so many of us here have discovered: the WW way of
eating doesn't require sacrifice or deprivation, just determination.

Your attitude of "one meal at a time" is pretty much how I take things
too. Keeping my focus on the next pound or two or the next meal helps
me not to feel overwhelmed by the long road ahead.

Keep doing what works. And keep posting.
