Oooooffffaaaaahhh.. *grin* I think I gained 20 lbs in one day hehehe
Started good enough... green grapes with yogurt, and a coffee with a WW
smoothie for breakfast... a banana for snack before my noon meeting.. a
salad and grilled chicken for lunch... Good huh ?
Then I thought... hey it's my birthday !!!
Pan fried myself (in Pam) two eggs and had them over a slice of bread and
turkey with a little chili sauce ! YUM ! it used to be my best favorite
thing to do for breakfast..
Ok.. that's a little much but hey.. Went to work last night.. got me a HUGE
frappucino (light) with whipped cream ! and a light n fit smoothie after
that.. and honey mustard squares at work...
Then we had dinner out.. lots of bread, a decent salad.. a bowl of Cioppino
(mmmmmmmmmmmm) by then I was full.. but they had Creme brulee on the dessert
menu !!!!!!!!!!! MMmmmmmmmmmmmm
We did refuse a refill of bread... after we ate two basket !!! *blush*
So that's my day.. didn't even have space for my evening tea..
Ok.. it's too much food but made us realize one good thing.. it was the
first time in AGES that we walked out of a restaurant saying "Oh man, I'm so
full" so we overdid it last night, but we have changed our day to day habits
because it used to happen all the time ! We enjoyed ourselves and are back
on track this morning ! so there !
Tho if someone was to offer me creme brulee again... mmmmm *grin* I'll have
a birthday again next year ! ;o)

Glad the day was fun. And you realized that once off-program is okay
for the rare pampering.
Yes, the "too much food" how did I do that regularly feeling is
educational.
Now enjoy the new birthday year ahead - programmatically (G)

Sounds like you thoroughly enjoyed your birthday. Now remember....
you don't have another until next year!

You knew exactly what you were doing. No regrets, no guilt, accepted
the consequences. I can't see anything wrong with it.
You may miss a loss for a week, but you are back OP now so it'll just
be one week.
I think that is a very cool and adult way to enjoy your birthday. Well
done
Ray
Can't see the appeal of creme brulee though!

I'm so glad that you approve !! ;o)
Seriously, I enjoy those celebrations a lot more now, because they are very
special, because they don't happen every two day :o)

Well, at least you used Pam and not butter! ;-)

Yes, I remember (not too long ago, that is...) walking out of restaurants on
an almost daily basis feeling like I was going to burst.
That's great that you are back OP this morning. I like the no guilt thing,
I think you have a healthy attitude.

Something to look forward to, that is for sure!
Take care,

A good creme brulee must be one of the best desserts in the world indeed....
mmmm.... Well sounds like you enjoyed yourself, and I think the occasional
splurge is no problem at all. As long as you get back on track immediately
after, which you did, so you are perfectly in control. Good to hear you had
a great birthday!
