Hi everyone, another weigh in and I am down 3.2lbs for a total of 26.6 lbs.
I can't believe it if I drink my water I loose, but I have to drink the 8
glasses of water a day minimum and it has to be water, not just any clear
liquid.  It just makes such a difference for me.

find that drinking water is a major factor in their weight loss
success.

Congratulations.  A  terrific current loss and a great total. Keep on
drinking that water and doing the rest of the program

I drink lots of low sodium club soda -- I find it helps get all my water a
day.

Way to go Lorna, that's an awesome loss. Drinking water is what I
struggle with the most. I'm dehydrated most of the time :-(

I can't understand those who find difficulty with water.  Have you tried
club soda mixed with some fruit juice (just a small amount)?

It's not the water so much as just a lack of interest in drinking. I
don't drink a lot of anything else either, with the exception of my 4
cups of coffee per day.

I've been mixing a small amount of flavoured water with regular tap
water and it's working really well. I'm trying anyway ;-)

I have no difficulty understanding it, it tastes just plain nasty and if it
is too cold turns my stomach, and for me at least anything besides water
doesn't act the same in my body, it Must be water, Lee, YMMV

I fill up a big cup with lots of water and ice and drink it with a straw
when I am having trouble getting all of my water.  For some reason the
straw makes a difference.  Now that it is getting warmer I take bottled
water with me in the car. My evening snack is Gerosteiner carbonated
water I get at Trader Joes.

Wow, great job!!  :-)

Luckily, I have always loved to drink water....I rarely have anything else
to drink (except for milk with my cereal in the morning).  I am so happy
with our new fridge....it has the automatic ice machine thingy.  I must
drink at least 64 oz. alone when I come home from work at night!  I also
find using a straw makes me drink more water.  Not sure why, but it seems to
work!
