Hey, don't count me out, you never know. Linda may get some freaky water
thing going on next Saturday, combined with a possible whoosh for me, my
clothes say I have lost a lot more than my scale does. Next week
realistically will be my only chance of course, but whatever.

I should have been clearer: I didn't want to be Too greedy.

Gloating has no place in friendly competition.

Misery loves company, I guess. The sun comes out for about 15 minutes
and then the heavens open the floodgates. We've had several torrential
downpours today, including a brief hailstorm.

GLOAT. You deserve it

Last night was a delicious diasaster. And more rain interfering with
outdoors today.

Actually, the rain did stop yesterday and even wounded I headed to REI
(by car) to check out mountain bikes with suspension. They has a 20%
off sale all models. But it was painful testing. And the
off-the-shelf models, while already pricy, were not to my fit and
would need to had some adjustments to handlebar/stem height.
If today's rains go spotty, I may head down there again for more
testing.

So you spent a rain-free day indoors shopping. You must have some
Minnesotan in you after all, because that's what we do too. They
didn't build the Mall of America down the road a piece from me for the
rest of America; they built for us!
The more I shop at REI, the more I appreciate their service. They rank
right up there with the locals.
Are you healing?

Well, it was not exactly pristine out there - very gray and breezy and
only about 60F. While test riding, it sprinkled a bit. Besides,
walking around REI is almost like being outdoors. A three-story water
fall, a climbing rock, bike trails and walking paths. Today was the
last day of the 20% off sale so I'm kind of glad the weather
cooperated in both senses. It was gray enough and raining in the
mountains to go shopping but dry enough to test a bike. And this will
bring us to your below question....
>The more I shop at REI, the more I appreciate their service. They rank

If you get knowledgeable folks, they can be terrific. The store was
packed today. But the bikies who helped yesterday were really good.
Then you also tend to meet other members who know quite a bit many
times.

Still more than tender and bacitracin is keeping things in check!!!!
