Try soya or rice milk instead: both come in low fat versions.

OK, but don't say I didn't warn you! Mind you, I LIKE milk, and I like
evap just to drink, but *NOT* in tea... Bleah!

I cannot imagine putting cream in tea! Must be a USA habit. Bleah -
greasy tea! :(

I drink lots of tea, usually Earl Grey with a couple of teaspoons of
skimmed or semi-skimmed fresh milk. You'd get a mug here - even the
queen would get a mug, as I own no cups! Yup - posh tea out of bone
china, made in a BIG hand crafted stoneware teapot (4 pint, especially
commissioned by your's truly from a potter), but the minimum you get is
half a pint! :D

Do, but never say I didn't warn you!

Okay I will give both a shot since I never considered them originally.
>OK, but don't say I didn't warn you!
I will considered myself warned. :-)

I'm Canadian actually and putting cream in tea is a habit from my
Atkins days.

I use *light* cream. 6% milkfat. It doesn't taste greasy at all.

Lately I inherited a whole lot of bone china cups and saucers from my
mother's estate. It seems a shame to just let such pretty things sit
unused in a china cabinet so I use them. If I am at a used goods sale
or looking on ebay and I see a nice cup and saucer that turns my head
I will buy it as long as there are no chips and cracks in it.

Again, I will consider myself warned. :-)

Oh, you MUST use those sorts of cups! :) Same as I regularly use old
inherited or gifted sewing machines and gadgets like buttonhole makers,
and the glorious pinking thingummy!

I agree - what a shame to have something like that unused. We have
some wedgwood that we use every day. Same with wine glasses. We bought
six antique glasses several years ago. They weren't hugely expensive,
but enough to debate whether or not to buy them. We use them every day
and of course there are only three left now, but I wouldn't have it
any other way. Next time I'll buy contemporary so that they can be
replaced
Sorry, can't help with what to put in tea. I can't imagine putting
milk in anything - yuck !!!
ray
perhaps add it up for the week and charge yourself that many points to be
safe, Lee
