Why do we need a formal "plan" to lose weight?  Why spend money on
books?  Is it to help convince ourselves that the problem is something other
than our own overeating?  This is really simple.  Calories in versus
calories
out is hard to argue with.  See  http://www.heartmdphd.com/wtloss.asp

Why waste you time spamming and trolling a NG ? Is it to help convince
yourself that you are worth something or to prove to friends that you "can
do this"? This is really simple go out and make friends, meet people

George,

Different approaches work for different people.  Some of us LIKE taking care
of ourselves THIS way.  WW works for us!  It may not for every one, but it
does work for us.  As for this not being simple - - for me, WW is very easy
to do; it has become a part of my life.  Notice I said a PART of my life -
not my life. Different strokes for different folks!

Thank you.  I understand your thinking and believe you'll be successful in
reaching your goals.  Yours was the only intelligent response to my post and
I appreciate your consideration.

I guess I just try to look at both sides (all sides) of everything.  We are
all entitled to our opinions.  I can't blast a person just because they have
other views.  I don't know any of you on this listserv. Regardless of who
you are, you all have your reasons for being here.  We take away what we can
use and disregard what we can't use. We don't need to bash anyone.
