I'm not sure what you mean. The more calories you burn, the more you
can take in. When I first started WW, there was no activity component
but it was a more restrictive food program.

I think he was asking why people are reporting on their exercise and food.
I guess the short answer is "because that's what we do here". :)
It's informative for some people. Information exchange. Reporting on what
other people are doing. It's nice to share, etc.

No offense taken.
I went to WW a 2 years ago lost 50 lbs but still needed to lose 40 more. The
leader quit. When they found the new leader I didnt feel like I was getting
much from the meetings and quit. I kept the 50 of for a year but this last
year I noticed I was gaining it back. So after gaining back 20 of the 50 I
started WW at home just me and my husband on 09/01/05. No meetings. I follow
the program and post my daily activities here. Its just my way of being
accountable to someone, anyone.
I have lost 21 pds and my husband has lost 26 pds. I dont really expect
anyone to comment everyday to me. But those who do, their support and advice
is greatly appreciated.

Lori,
I don't post here, generally, but I do read. I am absolutely happy
to see your stats. I get inspired by so many different things. I
happen to really enjoy our leader. She is not one of these mental
cases with the yelling and cheering and hysterionics. She is
intelligent, gives us very inspiring thoughts and recipes. If she
were to leave, I doubt I'd go to the meetings any more, or I would
hunt around for another leader I was inspired by.
On another note, I am in week 23 and I have lost 46.4 pounds. I still
have more to go, but steady as she goes!

it gives accountability to the poster, and if a reader has
questions/pointers that can help the poster they are offered, also helps the
reader with exercise/menu ideas, Lee
