My in-laws cancelled on us - the early snow sent them south already.  It's
just my DH and I, the pets, and any freinds that stop by.  We always open
our house to friends and neighbors who are living up here alone and don't
visit family and some years we end up with 10-15 extra people.  This year
since we already have snow on the ground, we might also have a bonfire in
the yard.

I'll be preparing a turkey, roasted red potatoes, green bean casserole, and
bicuits (for DH & guests).  I'll also have a pumpkin fluff for dessert.
There will be other dishes & desserts depending on what the drop-ins bring.

I always cook Thanksgiving dinner, but my husband and children help.
The children are 21, 23 and 25.  The 25 year old is a chef so he makes
the perfect gravy and helps as needed.  I make 2 homemade cranberry
relishes, the traditional pumpkin and mincemeat pies, yams just baked
with butter added for those who want it, another fresh vegetable such as
asparagus, wild rice dressing with sauteed mushrooms and green peppers
plus other stuff, and , of course, the turkey. The turkeyis covered with
an herb/seasoning on Tuesday and then roasted on Thansgiving Day.

We have no appetizers nor do we have any type of bread or rolls.  Also,
there are no mashed potatoes or high point vegetable dishes.  I make the
WW pumpkin fluff for my dessert and for others who want it.  In the
morning I have a small bowl of fresh fruit and either coffee or tea.  I
figured out that my meal with wine comes to 28 points if I take
everything I want so I am cautious about overeating these first three
days of the week.

I already cooked a turkey. And some stuffing. We will eat it all week.
Nothing special planned for Thursday.
