I was looking on another news group.. somebody made a post that got my
attention.

Subject : "recipes please"

and in the body of the message : "Recipes or links will do." That's it.

How rude..

Yesh mashter... your wish is my command mashter.. I shall spend 30 minutes
of my time looking for recipes and links for your pleasure mashter..

Sorry.. I'll help anybody who needs help (and ask politely) but you can do
your own "googleling".

I even get that kind of thing at work. I'll get an email asking if I know
where there are any sites to find "blah blah blah."  My standard response:
"personally, no, but Google knows all."

There are people out there who love to look up links for others. I will
if I know the person or know of the specific link.  Thank heavens Google
knows all and tells all.

Again, asked politely, and from someone who obviously looked and didn't find
OR someone I know doesn't have a clue about online research ANYTIME..

But a stranger showing up with a "recipe please" post.. nuh huh.. ask
nicely.. tell me you tried and didn't find..
