Was my first real munchies attack of the week. Thursday is my most busy day
and I'm on the go from early morning to about 7:30 pm...

I came home tired and starved, and had bulgur and salad ready, but nothing
to go with it. I turned it around in my head... hummmm pot-stickers?
sandwich? those aren't core...

I took a chicken breast out of the freezer, thawed it out in the microwave,
cut it up and browned it. Then I put it aside, put in 2 cloves of garlic
(minced) a can of italian tomatoes, and a can of water chesnuts (sliced) and
cooked down the juice some, added the chicken, and cooked until done. Had
that with bulgur and salad.

I still had a fudge cycle, and my half sandwiches later (which are not core)
but those two together are just 4 pts and I had 31 WPA left and my week ends
tomorrow.. so plenty !!

I stayed up to watch the figure skating, so around 11 I got the munchies
again, I had FF SF jello !

All this to say that I did JUST FINE on my most difficult day of the week.
Thursday is usually where I crash and then slide friday saturday and start
over sunday !

Hey - listen...this is a really REALLY good NSV. I know sometimes for myself
I feel like I get into the "zone," exercising 6 days a week, staying within
points and everything is clicking with the plan. But just 2 weeks ago, I
really struggled. I mean, I don't think I'll ever get back to my pre-WW 354
lb. Days (lost 86 now), but every so often that "mentality" creeps back in,
albeit its usually temporary...but it always freaks me out when it does and
I start to fear that I may revert back to my old ways. I know in my heart
that it will never happen (knocks on wood), for I have been through too
much. But last week for me was one where things sort of fell apart because I
had so much work (I'm a freelancer working from home, deadlines
constantly)...I just couldn't get it to work last week. I'm always inspired
by stories of making the plan work despite it all!
