Hi All,

Had my weekly WI this morning.  Down another 2.6 this week!  I'm very happy.
Switching back to FLEX really makes me feel like I'm in control.

I celebrated with the following lunch.........

HOT SPICY BROCCOLI STIR FRY
-------------------------------------
All of this is done on Max heat in a  big skillet or frying pan..........!

cozy white breast skinless chicken chopped into 1/2" pieces sautéed in 2
teaspoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil cooked until golden brown.
Then add.........
3 large button head mushrooms sliced
1 garlic clove minced
1 medium onion chopped into quarters
1 Hot red cherry pepper minced
1 sliced carrot
1 sliced celery stick
Fry and stir for about 3 minutes until veggies get a little scorched
Then add.....
3 full stems of broccoli chopped into nice big pieces including crunchy
portions of stems
1/4 cup of low sodium chicken broth, add tight lid and let everything steam
for 3 minutes max until broccoli is green and still slightly crunchy.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup of water - remove lid,
pour in pan, toss for 30 seconds until thick.
Pour onto nice big plate
Sprinkle black pepper all over!
Sprinkle of hot pepper flakes all over!

YUM,!!!............. and so filling!!!!!
8 points!!!!............I'm still full, that was 3 hours ago!!!!

that is 5.5 months old.  I love other people's dogs, I am not responsible
enough for a dog, Lee

That recipe sounds great, Eddie.

A stupid question - what exactly is a garlic clove? Is it a whole garlic, or
one of the sections that make up a garlic? I always get confused about that.

And congratulations on your weight loss!

A garlic clove is one of the sections from a garlic bulb.

Not Eddie but garlic forms a bulb and each individual section or piece
is called a clove.

Hey Doug,

It's just one section - choose a nice fat plump section. :)
