Just started the Flex plan. Questions:
1. How much oil is considered a serving?
2 Can I skip the 2 week (Fast Track) plan to get you started and go into
just counting points on all foods? (reason, I cook my mushrooms in butter)
I know, I should change, but I am working on it.
3. Does Crystal lite count as water intake? And if I am following the Fast
Track menu, can I drink Crystal lite?
4. Also, I notice there is no melon on the Fast Track plan, can I have
watermelon or cantaloupe?

The fast track plan is the wrong name I guess. It is the 2 week meal guide
chart for a quick start to your diet

Thank you for your answers this helps a lot. Now I have another question
but I will start a new thread for it. I have lost 7 pounds already and it's
only been a week.

There's no reason to start on that plan.
The 2 weeks meal guide is a tool we're given to help people who 1 are bored
with what they eat and need ideas, or 2 are stuck on a plateau and don't
know what to try anymore.
Start doing the plan the way it's explained in your Week 1 book (Getting
started). Count your point, clean up your fridge and cupboards and just eat
what you like, but in portions that will make you stay within your point
limit.

You don't need to follow the two week guide, it is just a guide to get you
started or re-started if you are having problems. Use it as a guideline.
The oils are 1 teaspoon is a serving, I believe, but check the points books,
it will tell you for each thing. Also, try cooking your mushrooms, in less
and less butter and see how the points go down. Maybe just a 1/2 tsp of
butter in the pan will be more than enough and then the points are lessened
than using a couple of tablespoons of butter. Or try, the spray oils,
butter sprays or olive oil spray.
You can drink Crystal Light, just count whatever points there are, if any.
You need at least 3 glasses of pure water, then the rest can be other
non-caffeinated beverages count towards water intake, including milk, de-caf
teas/coffees, juices. You should try to get your full 6 glasses of water in
then drink the other things it will help tremendously with your weight loss.
You can eat melons and cantaloupe, just point it out. I think on the Fast
Track plan, you can substitute fruits one for one. The thing is melons are
not available nationwide year round, so they Fast Track plan has things you
can find year round in the stores.
Good luck on your successes.

You can cook mushrooms in the microwave. Spray with an olive oil spray
and add some herbs. Mine cooked nicely in 3 minutes.
