This morning, Israel bombed the h... out of Lebanon.. who of course
responded.. It'll get worst too.. Syria's not to be intimidated..

Don't care who's right who's wrong... I think war is the stupidest thing,
but that's my opinion... probably not worth much...

What p!sses me off is that there are so many civilans, on both sides, who
have nothing to do with it, probably don't even understand it.. who will die
or worst..

Irak isn't getting any better, North Korea is a mess...

So many children of war... that is just disgusting.. Take the heads of those
armies, get them in a room and let them fight it off..

D@mn it

Forget the armies.  Just shove all the politicians and religious nutters
in a room together, lock the buggers in, and throw away the key.

But they do that all the time on TV as it is, and it's boring...  It
would be much nastier for them if we just ignored them!

and the sad part is that we think we have problems, I bet there are lots of
those people who think we are crazy for thinking we have too much to eat,
very sad indeed, Lee

Those things get to me. Sometimes I wish I could be one of those people who
don't know a thing about what's going on in the world, who believe whatever
politicians tell them and don't care to learn more...

My field is history and ethics, I've spent a lot of time reading and
learning about international laws and events, mainly the 20 century.. enough
to know that there isn't the "good guys" and the "bad guys"... mainly
there's a lot of idiots trying to pull the bedcovers over on their sides by
any means they can get away with..

As my Great-Grandma would have said, "One's worth the other, and the other
isn't worth much" which would be funny if there weren't so many children
caught in the middle..

*sigh* think I'll close the TV and the laptop and go outside to see if I'm
there this afternoon..

You are a TERRORIST SUPPORTER if you think it's wrong for Israel to
protect herself against unprovoked attacks.

Go hug a suicide bumber! Watch the pounds blow off.

You don't deserve to live in the United States of America because you
hate freedom.

I think I've seen this one around before, but I made them this morning,
so I'll share.

One box any brand devil's food cake mix
One 14oz/397g can pumpkin

Mix the two.  Don't add anything else, the pumpkin is enough moisture.
Fill 12 muffin tins (about a quarter cup each, roughly).

Bake at 400F/204C for 10-12 minutes, until the middles are unsticky.  3
points each.

They're *amazingly* moist, and more chocolatey than pumpkiny by far,
altho there's a hint in there.

I'm more or less agnostic.  Or possibly a heretic.  Mum says I'm a
heathen.  Suits me!

On a stake with a crown of thorns like Madonna in her recent tour....

Just kidding.  If you study history you will see that there has been
turmoil in the Middle East since before the birth of Christ.  It is hard
to rationalize war but war has been going on there for centuries.  My
neighbors are Israeli and I am Jewish though with no relatives in
Israel. I can understand the reasoning behind the attacks even though I
have never touched a gun nor want to.

I don't live there and never will.  Far too oppressive and restrictive a
regime for me.

I stand ten paces to the right of Genghis Kahn and 14 to the left of
Karl Marx.

I subscribe to no religion: too much evil has been done to too many in
the names of various religions for be every to feel wholly comfortable
with any.

Any government I vote for had better spend the majority of my tax money
on education, health, and social welfare, in that order.  Defence comes
after sorting out the roads and railways.

Wealthy people should be encouraged to spend their dosh: redistributing
it by keeping florists, hairdressers, nail artists and accountants in
work is better than buying art and hiding it away in mansions so no-one
ever sees it.

This is why I'm more likely to vote for The Monster Raving Loony Party
than Labour or Conservative.

This is a weight-loss group, not a place for you to support the
terrorist activities of Hezbollah.

I have a suggestion: You want to lose weight? Why don't you go hug a
suicide bomber?
Brenda Hammond - 15 Jul 2006 17:32 GMT
This sounds good.  I'd make it for myself this morning except I don't have
vanilla or peach yogurt!

Yogurt Breakfast Drink

2 cups reduced-fat vanilla yogurt
2 cups reduced-fat peach yogurt
1/2 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
1/2 cup fat free milk
2 cups ice cubes

In a blender or food processor, combine the first four ingredients; cover
and process until smooth.  Add ice cubes; cover and process until smooth.
Pour into glasses.

Yield:  6 servings
1 cup equals 166 calories
2 g fat
