I wanted to try something new tonight. We have the cookbook "In no time"
that came out a while ago but I never played with it much.

Tonight I made the Mahi Mahi with Mustard-Cognac sauce (p,125) which was
very different from what I'm used to, and for dessert I made the Honeydew
Soup (P. 183) and poured it out over pieces of honeydew melon.

The whole thing was excellent and 6 pts for the whole thing!!!!!!!

Yum ! you've got to get that cookbook!

It's the last cookbook to come out. It's green and comes with a little book
about "superfoods"

Title is "In no time" 20 minutes or less recipes!

If you like pasta, there's a whole chapter about them! and a
brunch/breakfast chapter also!

Pardon the Ebay link, but it was where I knew I could find a picture of the
"In No Time" cookbook easily.  I have a few WW cook books and I really need
to use them more.  They really have some good sounding recipes in them.  I
made Pastitsio out of one of the cookbooks called I believe it was "Take
out" not exact name.  Of course can I find the book right now to get exact
name.... no.  Any how it was REALLY good.  I think maybe some of us WW that
like to cook should do a "WW Recipe book" challenge.  Cook something at
least once a week out of one of our cookbooks and then share as to whether
it was good or not.

Stolen goods?   What was stolen?  Wasn't someone selling their own copy of
the cookbook?  I personally wouldn't sell any of my cookbooks even though I
have way too many.  BUT if I wanted to they are mine to sell and are not
stolen.

A lot of WW stuff is being stolen from the backstores at WW centers and sold
on ebay (and other places) for a reduced price.

bars, cookbooks, tools, you find it all on Ebay..

interesting WW subject.  Thanks for the welcome.

I'm not sure what the issue was but welcome...This is really a terrific
group...I have been on WW since Dec 21 2005...For me it has been very
successful...Although I often say it isn't any miracle,...it is something
you can live on and adapt to...Portion control,...planning and exercise  has
made all the difference...Again welcome...GG

Thank you for the welcome GG.

Not really an issue... just a conservation on what goods are stolen and sold
on eBay from someone who has ESP I guess.  If the auction doesn't title
itself "Stolen Goods" how would anyone surfing ebay know whether it was or
not.  If ebay knows for a fact it's stolen they'll close down the auctions.
If someone is selling a WW cookbook on ebay how would one know whether it's
their personal book or not.  Some common sense might work on this issue, but
again I could go into WW buy 22 cook books and they wouldn't say a thing to
me.  In fact one doesn't have to be on WW to buy anything at the WW store.
I thought that was odd.  I think you should have to show you're a member.
That's how it works around here anyhow.

I'm working hard on staying on plan.  I began again in April and I've been
up and down ever since and it's totally my fault for not commiting mind,
body and soul.  This week I'm been journalling religiously and working on
"making it work."  Because it does work when one actually follows the plan.
:D

Best Regards,
Lynne

Cheers and once again welcome

I made a dinner last night that even impressed my husband (!). I
grilled a couple of chicken breasts on the Foreman grill, then topped
it with low-fat provolone cheese (one slice) and a slice of turkey
prastrami. I call it "Chicken Cordon Brooklyn." Our side dish was
steamed cauliflower and broccoli with a spicy hummus dipping sauce.
Easy and yummy and satisfying!

Bon appetit!

Sounds delicious!  I don't know what it is about the Foreman grill, but it
makes the best grilled chicken breasts.

I know! It's even worth cleaning the darned thing! (and for those of
you not on support.diet, the hot tip is to put a wet paper towel
between the plates after you've unplugged the appliance :)

Wow hadn't thought of that.  It is a bugger to clean; hense, why I don't use
it often.  What I've done is similar.  As soon as I'm done cooking I take a
wet paper towel and some tongs and rub it down.  Very easy to clean this
way.  I'll have to try the cooler version, but I am afraid to let it cool
down as the chicken juice turns into concrete!
