Hi everyone!
My name is julie and I'm new here.  I just trying to get some support other
than the meetings.  I can't afford them and I keep failing at this weight
loss thing.  I weigh 235 pounds and am 5ft 9 in and am 29 years old.  Started
my diet about 5 times already this year and can't seem to stay on track.  I
love those carbs.  Well I started again, because my goal was to lose weight
by my 30th bday.  It's in November.  OMG!!!  Running out of time.  Okay I
look forward to speaking with everyone soon. Bye for now

I think it was Willow who pointed out that it doesn't matter how many times
that one starts a diet just that you keep trying.  Good for you for trying
again.

The weight watchers near me started something new this week.  It's about
$9.50 (don't remember the exact amount a believe it's a few cents cheaper) a
week for the meeting and you get free etools online.  It's called the
monthly pass.  Check it out on their website maybe it is something you could
afford.

but for those of you who are going to do the monthly pass, I will be this
week, go to your center to sign up the first time, otherwise no human gets
any credit for it, DH being a good person asked what happened if you sign up
just on line and was told that would work but nobody would get any credit
for it, Lee, who has lived on commissions

Who gets a commission on my joining now? The initial leader who sold me
on the 10 meetings/free registration for $109, or the leader at each
individual meeting I attend and turn a coupon pass in to?

I think the leader that does the meeting you weigh in at gets something, not
sure about the initial buy, but I do know that somebody at your center gets
something for your WI and something I think when a purchase like a cook book
is made, I am not 100 percent sure its just that I would rather a real human
I know get part of my money rather than a generic company getting that bit,

I had no idea that anyone got credits or commissions for sign-ups.  My
meeting place encouraged us all to go online and sign up. hmmm.

Hi Julie. I'm 5'9" and weighed 239. I managed to lose about 40 pounds on my
own but then stalled big time. When weight crept back above 200, I joined
WW. I've had arough ride the past few months but it's because I'm failing WW
not because WW is failing me. The plan works if you stick to it. I'm a
carbaholic also. Good luck.

My granny always used to say, "The longest journey starts with the first
step."  You've taken that first step.
