Hi - new here too!
Is anyone else doing Core? I tried points a while back but i became to picky
and obsessive about it. I gained 18 lbs over the last year from
out-of-control eating and i need to regain control and lose the weight. I'm
5'3" and need to lose 34lbs (i'm 159 lbs right now) I'm not going to
meetings, too broke - so i need your support!
I'm modifying my Pasta y Fagiole recipe to comply with the CORE plan so I
will post the recipe after if it turns out good. I'm trying whole wheat
pasta (heard lousy reviews on that stuff)
thanks for being here!!

I am currently doing core, the pasta depends on what you get, someone else
can give you brands, Lee

Core has a list of foods that you can eat and then if you need to stray from
that you have a certain amount of point for the week (35) but you basically
stick to the Core list of foods and it's very much like a "low carb " plan.
Stay away from refined sugars, eat whole grains, lots of veggies etc
points you can eat anything as long as you fit it into your daily points

I started Core a couple of weeks ago because I need to destress and my
leader thought no points counting (except for the 35 WPA and APs) was the
way for me to do that. Liking it so far. Lost 2.2 the first week and 0.8
this past week.

I'm currently doing core too for the same reasons. It's working well for
me.
