Having missed week 8, week 9 came and I was down 3.2 lbs for the 2 weeks.
Yay! I was kind of surprised it was that much. I went on that retreat
(which didn't turn out too bad WW wise--I didn't gain anything), but after
that there was this Taco Bell incident...oops. It only involved a couple of
softshell tacos, but... "But" was my favorite word last week.
Week 9 was much better. I only ended up using about half of my weekly
points. I'd been using them all until this past week. Maybe I'm learning
about real hunger vs. I want food.
I only exercised twice last week. It was a low energy week. Autumn
descended suddenly in Minnesota. It went from 80 and sunny to 50 and
drizzly/rainy literally overnight. (I think that's somewhere around 28 and
10 degrees Celsius, respectively.) Big change, and my arthritis takes a
while to catch up with big weather changes. But I'm feeling better today,
and I intend to exercise at least 4 times this week. Hold me to it.
I'm looking forward to a better week. I think the weather's supposed to be
nicer--sunny at least the first couple days. Hope you all have a good week!

Good loss, Patty. What are you doing for exercise? I walk every day
early in the morning.

Thanks, Audrey. For my exercise I alternate step aerobics with a 4-inch
step one day and regular floor aerobics the next. I use easy, basic,
beginner exercise videos for about 40 minutes a session.

what a wonderful post, you are doing fine, living real life and learning,
now that taco thing, I have to avoid that place, I find I have a slight
addiction to that place which I didn't realize until joining ww, I can do
fine at any other ff place except that one, Lee, who is stiff this week

Since being on the plan, I've been avoiding fast food except for lower point
Subway food. For me it usually leads to cravings for more. This taco
place, though, isn't on my beaten path. I have to take the bus to the
neighborhood, and then it's a little hike to get there. With the weather
turning colder I won't bother going there for a while. Maybe I just needed
one last fling...
Sorry to hear about your stiffness, Lee. I hope you feel better soon!

Glad to hear you had success over the last 2 weeks Patty! Good for you.
If you don't mind my opinion, I really think you should try to eat ALL of
your points.....this way, you won't see a gain when you decide to use
them.....You should really get in the habit of using all of them. It will
help you later during maintenance.
Hope you have another good week, this week!

Thanks Eddie. I never looked at using the points that way. I used my 26
daily points all up, and I only used 17 of the 35 Weekly Additional Points.
I thought the weekly points were kind of like "extra." Thanks for bringing
that to my attention, though. I only have about 7 lbs (or 3 kg) before I go
down to 24 points a day, and I hope the transition goes smoothly.
I don't mind getting feedback from others--a different point of view leads
to a well-rounded perspective.
You have a great week too!

I almost have to eat all my points or I don't lose, my metabolism is so
screwed up, other people don't/can't eat theirs, keep track and see how your
body reacts, Lee
