I haven't been to the gym in a week because I'm sick.  Spent Fri thru Sun in
my jammies with hot tea and soft blankets.  My whole body hurts and I have a
terrible cough & sore throat.  I have been eating mostly fruit and drinking
juice though I did have a small bit of ice cream.

I also found that plain yogurt drained through a coffee filter makes it
thick and creamy and excellent with some splenda and fruit.

I'll get on the scale again next week. Right now I don't care about anything
but trying to feel better. I am in the midst of a hectic volleyball season
and have matches to referee.

I'm also not really reading any of my usenet groups as much anymore.  There
just isn't time for it like there used to be. I just decided to sign in and
catch up.  Great work to those who had success this week!

Thanks Eddie and everyone else.  I finally had to take the day off from work
to spend some quality time at the clinic.  It's bacterial so I get to have
antibiotics and codeine.  I dunno if it's all that safe to surf while stoned
:)  I'm eating chicken soup all day today.

Last night was the first night of volleyball season.  I played a few
minutes - my team has 7 players this year so I was able to sit out - though
my DH said my team played MUCH better when I was in there.  I got my first
finger sprain of the year; nine more to go!

LOL!!  This is the best I've felt in a long time.  Kinda makes me miss my
younger days - even the ones I can't remember.  Funny thing is that the doc
said I could take this stuff while working but I can't see that happening.
I'm not sleepy, just dopey (that's 2 of the 7 dwarves and since I just saw
doc I guess I only have 4 to go).

The chicken soup was really good too.

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better.  You can probably sit at the
computer under the influence but try not to drive :)

I went through three weeks of being sick recently, didn't feel like
eating anything (odd for me), and lost some weight.  So then I started
feeling better and started eating again, only I forgot to watch how
much I was eating.  You see, I was feeling better.

Get well soon and focus.
