Is it always so annoyingly slow??
I'm thinking of converting to the monthly pass, which provides total
access to the tools on the website, so I'm wondering if it is going to
be any faster?

enough to annoy me.. Thursdays are "maintenance day" otherwise.. it never
gave me troubles..

Hmmm....I've never had any troubles with it. Are you on high speed internet
with a fairly speedy computer? I could see it being slow if you have an
older computer and dial up.

Extremely fast computer and cable access. No other website bogs down for
me the way the WW site does.

Must be a regional thing then because even my WW leader has mentioned it
repeatedly.
I think waiting 5-10 seconds for any thing anymore is torture. I'm used
to instant gratification and site changes.

In general I find the site as fast or slow as any other data base
driven site on the web. I do see slowdowns sometimes when posting in
the community, only because so many people are posting at the same
time. It takes more than a few nanoseconds for all of those updates to
happen. exm: I posted last week and by the time it updated, maybe it
took 15 seconds (forever in processing time) there were at least 20
other posts after mine.
So I doubt having a monthly pass will make a difference one way or
another. What would help IMHO is for all those other people to gooaway
so I can use the site the way I want, but then what would happen to the
community aspect... My $0.02 worth of fame

not sure about the speed but the monthly pass is cheaper even if you never
use the site. Lee, who loves the recipes and trakking
