Had a great weigh-in this morning.  New all-time low for me.  I lost
over 2 pounds this week.  165.0 lbs exactly making my total loss 67.2.
I hit the treadmill hard and was a very disceplined eater this week.  A
very good friend of mine had his 50th birthday party last night too.  I
grazed the veggie tray (baby carrots mostly) and drank about 6 cups of
Diet Pepsi.  Wife didn't do so well at the party.  I think I'll curb my
enthusiasm when I share this morning's success with her.

Good job Joe!!!!

I hate when that happens though, one of us do great and the other doesn't
and then it's all awkward. It might be a good occasion to talk it out though
and make a plan. You can so help and support each others!

I might have shared this before, but my husband and I team up for parties.
We'll keep an eye on each others (discreetely, we always make a point not to
make the other feel embarrassed or anything). If one of us is obviously
stuck to the munchies table, or isn't doing good we have a cue we worked
out, the other will go and offer a glass of water.

That works well cause nobody around us knows what it's about, it's a good
way to say "Hum, get a grip" without being embarrassing or impolite. Over
all that water is a good way to stop a munchie attack!!

Good going !
Will~

Great job Joe, and thanks to both you and Willow.  Early on I dropped
5.8 pounds and my wife dropped .02 lbs and guess what, I couldn't
celebrate because I was too busy putting her back together.  Then she
got pissed at me because I hinted that I was disappointed over the
situation.

We survived this time.  I like the idea of teaming up at parties.

That would be tactful.  :)  But well done anyway.  :)  :)
