Willow Herself - 16 Jan 2007 15:08 GMT What do you want to see happen from now to June 21st (first days of summer)?
I want to be below 135lbs
I want to work out 6 days/week (indoors and/or outdoors)
I want to be completely at ease in the Core plan (getting there fast so it won't take that long).
More than anything though, I want to live and let live... things happen, good things... bad things... I want to work hard to change what I can, and accept what I can't change... Put the past behind me, and let the future come on it's one time... all I can deal with is now...
Not very original, but words I've tried to live by for many years now... Will~
Karen Officer - 16 Jan 2007 20:56 GMT >What do you want to see happen from now to June 21st (first days of summer)? I would like to remain at or below my goal weight (It will be a year for me April 4)
I would like to walk 400 miles between today and that June 21. I'm getting 4 miles a day 3 to 4 days a week.
I would like to use weights on a more consistent basis. I'm shooting for 3 days a week (this is supposed to help my osteoporosis diagnosis I was gifted with last October)

I would like my 20 minute treadmill workout to be a warm up instead of the workout (recovering from surg.) I want to get back into lifting come April when I get the green light.

I know... I'm not good at it either!!!

When I'm too tired to go upstairs for a treadmill workout I feel like I'm slacking off (emotionally) though I know it's the right thing to do (intellectually).

Just make sure you keep busy, there's nothing worst than sitting around contemplating what you can't do.. drives me insane..

It's a add and remove until you find balance.. Will~

I just need to figure out now how to factor in the exercise points into the equation. I'm walking four days a week right now (60 minutes each time). Karen

When I bought my pedometer at the WW meeting, the leader helped me calibrate it, by measuring my stride when I walk. I use the walk away the pounds video and it averages about a mile every 15 minutes. On top of that I add any mall walking I may do. One complete circuit of our local mall is 1 mile. Karen

I'd like to be below 150 by then. (5+lbs) The scale is moving very slowly as I approach goal.
I'm consistantly doing water aerobics 3x a week. I'd like to add back in at least one of the evening sessions. I generally don't drive after dark due to mild night blindness. As the spring approaches and the time change it will be light longer so I can add back one of those classes.
I purchased the ww walking kit and I'd like to do one routine at least 2x a week.
I have a few professional goals that I'd like to accomplish too. Hopefully, the computer & study time involved won't drive me to drink or eat.
Stormmee - 19 Jan 2007 20:43 GMT great goals, Lee

Hopefully, > the computer & study time involved won't drive me to drink or eat. Louise Weiler - 18 Jan 2007 02:37 GMT - I'd like to lose 20 lbs. (I've lost 35 in the past year, I'm hoping for at least that in the next year, so half is 20 lbs.) - I'd like to be consistent with four days of working out per week most weeks. (I've been hitting two consistently, I've added two now the past two weeks...) - I'd like to be continually upping my daily steps count until I hit 10000 steps per day. (I don't care how fast I go up, I just want to make sure next weeks average is 1 step more than this weeks average, etc.) I am currently targeting 6667 steps per day...
All of this while DH is super busy for the next eight weeks with his last class for his MS in Computer Science, and not home three nights a week, and I have to take care of the two boys (4 years and 21 months) alone all day those days...which means sometimes I just grab something quick to eat, and sometimes I make a proper meal so that THEY see me eating properly...

I want to lose the last 35 pounds I need to lose.
I want to run and entire 5K instead of speed-walking most of it.
I want to be ready to swim again when the pool opens. I have missed, missed, missed swimming!
I want to be able to relax. I'm not very good at that!
