I am planning to go to a meeting this Saturday for the first time and I am wondering how long do the meetings last? Website says less than an hour, but about how much less? TIA Normally a meeting is 20 to 30 minutes, add to that the getting started session on the first time that is about 20 minutes or so... On weekends sometimes meetings are a little longer.. I'm not saying that I haven't enjoyed every minute of the 45 minute meetings or that the leader didn't have really interesting things to say, but they can be about 15 minutes longer than I want to be there. The leader I have now really tried to keep it at 30 minutes. I'm not sure what I do if the meeting was 20 minutes... I might feel like I didn't get enough meeting. Our Sat am meeting tends to run long, but like others have said, if the group is interactive (ours DEFINITELY is...) you get a lot out of the 45 minutes or so you are there. Our area also has the "express" meeting Friday at noon - it's about a 15 minute meeting...
