My friend just lost 10lb in 2 weeks, and that is just the start - she said.

The key to her success was to lose body fat without reducing her lean muscle mass.  This is achievable by eating enough protein as this keeps your metabolism revved up.  Every pound of lean tissue burns 14 calories per day compared to only about three calories burned for each pound of fat per day. So keeping the lean muscle mass and losing the fat helps you burn more calories at rest.

Eating enough protein sounds easy enough, but you have to be careful not to consume the wrong kind of protein that contain too many bad fats and calories.  Soy protein has a different composition from animal proteins, and this makes it healthier for your blood vessels.

She said it is also important to drink enough water to keep yourself hydrated.

She went on this website for information:  http://www.123healthyme.net .You can also get a free body fat measurement on there as well - looked pretty good to me.

Good luck to you all, I will let you know how I get on.
