what do you use in place of bread, I normally use light bread 2 slices for
one point, but if there is something healthier... can't get much lower in
points, I would like to hear it... so far the flat out bread is the bread of
choice, thanks, Lee

To be honest, I use bread.

I will use low pts tortillas every once in a while, but I just see no reason
not to eat bread.. the 35 weekly pts allowance is there to be used.

will~

There is no Core bread substitute really.. so if you like a bread that is 1
pts for 2 slices you're better off than with any substitute that would taste
like anything decent and that you'd have to use pts for anyway.

;o)

I have been on Core from the beginning and don't miss bread as much as I
used to...Now I use bread as a treat and will eat whole grain or real rye
when I have a craving...I also use low calorie whole grain tortillas which
are 1 point for an occasional wrap...I find the flat bread rather blah but
have only tried 1 brand from Trader Joes...I still like Pita when eating
hummus although veggies work as well...GG

Use something that tastes good.  Orowheat now makes a 2 pt. honey wheat
English muffin that tastes like an English muffin.  I like the Orowheat
double fiber bread.  Some of the tortillas are high in fiber and very
low in points.  Do you like the taste of the light bread?  My daughter
is very happy with Sara Lee Delightful wheat but it doesn't taste as
good as the Orowheat I prefer.  Since this is something you want to do
long term, be happy with your choices.
