Which is fine, given that I had a day in London and could only make
choices to the tune of the healthiest option available, probably didn't
drink enough, and still haven't got back to swimming.

Not to fret, though: swimming tonight!  And FREE swimming at that!  My
swimming buddy has a 'free family swim' voucher for filling in a
customer service survey!  And I shall swim on Sunday morning, too.  Yay!
 Go pool, go!  It won't be easy, but it'll be good for me!
