OK, so it *is* only Sunday, but...

Friday: earned 8 points swimming (80 lengths in 70 minutes), made good
meal choices, ate 20 points.  daily allowance is 18, so ate 2 of that
crowd of exercise points and banked six...

Saturday: Mostly good food choices, and kept busy with housework.  Had
one point of chocolate (treat from 13 YO son).  Ate 19 points, so the
daily allowance plus 1 from the banked points.  Got 5 left...

Today: earned 6 points swimming (50 lengths+ in outdoor [longer!] pool)
in 55 minutes.  Had 6 points worth of cooked breakfast (bacon, scrambled
eggs, mushrooms).  Will have a snack for lunch, and there's roast
chicken and salad and Skinny Cow ice cream for dinner later...

Last weekend we wanted ice cream for lunch on Monday (guests and it was
a bank holiday), and the only ones we could get from the village shop
were Magnums.  I had a Magnum Mayan Mystica: delish, but *SIX WHOLE
POINTS!*  Not worth it when I can have an equally delish Skinny Cow for
1.5 points!

Most of the food for this week is planned round the chicken, salad, and
the belief (possibly erronious - this *is* England!) that the current
heat wave will continue.  Once the bird is gone, we have venison burgers
(2.5 points) and salmon fillets (2.5 points) on the menue with the
various salads.  There are yoghurts (Muller Light: 1.5 points), Skinny
Cows, and fruit on the desert menue, so we should be OK this week!

I want to eat at your house :-)
We don't have Skinny Cows here... but we do have Magnum Mayan Mystica! I
have resisted temptation so far, for 6 points I can have a copious
dinner. Now if they would make them in mini-version?
