I'm hanging in there, but I'm having a horrible time on the job front. My
eternal positive attitude is really sagging...

WTF? If I can't teach, I'll do something else!

:o( I'm trying really hard not to let it get me down, and into the food..

but with the price of everything here in California.. I'm a little
overwhelmed..

It's unbelievable how much the cost of life had increased, isn't it.
It's the same for us here in Europe... when I compare my grocery bills
now to what I paid 5 years ago... sigh...
I 'm sure you 're a good teacher, and teaching is a beautiful job, but
if you temporarily have to do something else then I wish you best of
luck in finding something you like.
