The Giant Mutant Ninja Teenager cut his thumb with a scalpel, doing a
model he shouldn't have been doing at that point, whorled through the
livingroom like a minor tempest, hurling a customer's BLACK VELVET
costume to the floor on the way to a sticking plaster, took a short cut
across my bed, and bashed his head on the light.  He broke the
lightbulb, scattering fine shards of glass on my duvet...

He had to deal with the cut thumb, hang up the costume, fetch the
hoover, get his dad to help, and is currently stripping my bed, having
shaken the (possible) remaining glass off the duvet outside.

If he's bust my heated electric blanket by planting his giant hooves on
it, he'll be replacing that...  And I didn't let him off the bin
emptying he SHOULD have ben doing when he cut his thumb.

I needed a bit of comfort.  A banana makes great comfort food, nibbled
slowly.
