...of a long fibro-fog and pain period.
What is it about the misery of pain and brain fog that has me constantly
munching? Dunno... But I'm pulling out, and things seem a little better.
I managed to swim a mile last night, which was good. Bit slower than I
could this time last year, but stil in just over an hour. Knees and
legs feel better for it, and I feel more cheerful, so hopefully I can
stay with the program this week. I may still give it a week or two
before going back to meetings, but hey - I'll get there. I want to get
back into the exercise habit and the eating properly habit first, I think.
My only real restrictions are:
No more than two slices of wheat based bread in a day. Soup and rolls
for dinner tonight, so I shall dig out the gluten free (so wheat free)
bread flour and make non-wheat soda farls or something, as I had a ham
sandwich for lunch. I also got some gluten free cornflakes for
breakfast. I like them better than the standard sort anyway.
One biscuit/cake snack per day. And then wheat free if possible. Other
than that, fruit and veggies.
Back to the low fat cheeses! The fatty stuff is OK in very small dozes,
but I've had too much recently, and it's getting to my insides. Need to
cut back/down and get back on even keel. That way I'll feel better all
over, and keep the fibro-gremlines and depression at bay.
Bleargh. Beed a horrid year for the fibro, and I feel totally useless
when nothing I do seems to stop it. Hopefully the warmer weather will
improve things.
Tomorrow the outdoor pool! Need to work out how many length I have to
do for a mile there: it's a bigger pool... Also need to walk more.

Oooffaaahhh Sorry for the rotten times Kate!
Get back up, dust yourself and off you go.
Hope it's the end of it, at least for a while... sounds pretty awful!

Can be. Mostly painful and depressing. Makes working difficult, even
though I love what I do (making a Victorian corset right now!).
Been a good day so far today. I ended up having 'brunch' rather than
breakfast, and I've had a mini pack of WW bikkies (1.5 points) and an
apple since.
