My WW week starts on Friday, for historic reasons.
OK, the week I decide to get back on course and do this thing PROPERLY,
Little Sis has mum down to stay, and they want to take me to a gourmet
pub for lunch. Doesn't sound good...
'Cept that Little Sis is a high powered police officer with a 'sensive
gymn memmbership and an addiction to swimming. So the plan is we go and
spend an hour in the pool at the gymn, have coffee, and then get mum and
go for lunch.
I had cornflakes and a handful of dried fruit for breakfast, with a
quarter of a pint of slimmed milk. 4 points.
45 minutes actual swimming: I counted three points for that. 10 minutes
in the jacuzzi and under the massage jets. HOT water on the back of the
neck really relaxes those worked muscles! And five in the steam room...
Lovely shower, followed by nice coffee. And I was good and had
straight filter coffee with a little skimmed milk rathe than a latte!
Lovely!
And lunch was a dry white wine spitzer made with soda water, and smoked
salmon and prawn salad with baby new potatoes. We followed that with
strawberries drizzled in home made raspberry coulis and cream. Lunch
for a total of 9 points.
Afternoon snack was a single 1 point Ryveta Fruit Crunch. I needed
something before swimming and late dinner...
I swam again in the evening - my usual Friday night mile, for 6.5
points, then had dinner. For once a bought-in meal, but a low point
chicken and rice thing for 5.5 points, follwed by a WW carrot cake for 3
points.
So total available points by the end of the day was 28.5, and
consumption was 22.5. I earned 9.5 exercise points and have 6 still to
use, but I shall try not to. On the whole, a good day. And while today
won't be so active on the exrcise front, I'm working on customer
projects so will have limited boredom nibbling time. And tomorrow I
swim again.
I need to plan the menues for the rest of the week, and then I can stay
on the ball. I'm aiming for home-made everything for the rest of the
week. Well, I shan't have time for bread making, and I don't knit my
own yoghurt, but the cooking will be home done.
Tonight, I think, tuna and salad...
